Langley UMC is proud to have been instrumental in starting and launching numerous non-profits on Whidbey Island, including Hearts & Hammers, the Hub and Friends of Friends.
LUMC is a Greening Congregations member supporting the engagement of the faith community in environmental stewardship and advocacy.
The HUB is an after-school drop-in program offering social and recreational activities for middle and high school youth in a safe, supportive setting. It was started over 20 years ago by LUMC and is now a stand alone organization. They meet in the church basement.
Though the generosity and volunteerism of this active congregation, Langley UMC supports The HUB (see above), Helping Hands, Hearts and Hammers, Whidbey Homeless Coalition, Ryan's House for Youth and Habitat for Humanity.
